What You’ll Do:

The role of the Junior Data Science Intern holds significant importance in our mission to construct impactful solutions for our clients. This position serves as a vital link between our Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, channeling their efforts to fulfill the diverse data-driven requirements of our engineering endeavors.

As part of our data-centric ecosystem, the intern collaborates closely with these multidisciplinary teams, leveraging advanced data science techniques to address complex challenges. Their role encompasses the exploration and interpretation of data patterns, the creation of predictive models, and the extraction of actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and maintain machine learning models for effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deploy and maintain machine learning systems in a production environment.
• Drive iterative problem-solving within a dynamic startup setting.
• Collaborate in addressing recognized customer challenges and identifying emerging problem spaces within a specific domain.
• Contribute to the continuous refinement of strategies for data-driven innovation.

Qualifications

• Currently in sophomore/pre-final/final year pursuing a Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent degree.
• Strong Computer Science, Data Science and Machine Learning fundamentals with a knack of finding solutions to unconventional problems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Go or C++.
• Willing to learn security concepts and practices such as knowledge of authentication, security, and reliability.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
• Experience with Docker is a plus.
• Good problem solver, communicator, team player, with a customer focused mindset.
